wHAT IS dIRECT pRIMARY cARE?
Direct Primary Care provides you with all the medical attention you need without the hassle, like insurance. You have a direct relationship with your pRACTITIONER where you can spend unlimited time discussing your treatment plan. You have direct contact with a pROVIDER 24/7 via text, email or VIDEO CONFERENCING. we are dedicated to giving you the best healthcare services around.

What does the membership fee cover?
the fee covers all office visitS including sick visits and routine visits. You will also have access to discounted labs, and in-house office procedures. It gives you a discount on home visits if this is necessary. It provides you with a personal PROVIDER who is dedicated to your health and is interested in you as a person.

Why join if i have insurance?
You can still join with insurance. Most plans have high deductibles and you still have to pay co- pays at the clinic with each visit. Wilkes prohealth eliminates this. At wilkes prohealth we offer full transparency so there are no hidden costs. current tax laws prohibit the use of your hsa account as payment for membership fees; however, you can use it for anything ordered by us such as medications, labs and xrays.

Will I have to pay a fee for my office visits?
No, Your membership covers all of your office visits aND sICK VISITS. There is no copay. The only time you will have to pay a fee is if we have to SEND your lab or blood work to be analyzed, and even then it will be at a discounted price.

What about medications?
You and your pROVIDER are a team, especially when it comes to your medication. We will help you get the best medicine for you and your unique situation for as affordable as possible. wE will EVEN CARRY SOME FREQUENTLY USED MEDICATIONS IN THE OFFICE FOR A MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE OPTION. yOU CAN ALSO HAVE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS SENT TO THE PHARMACY OF YOUR CHOICE.

Will you do home visits?
Under certain circumstances home visits may be the only way you can be seen. If you are interested in a home visit, and wonder if your condition would qualify, you will need to speak to one of our pROVIDERS. tHERE WILL BE AN EXTRA FEE FOR THIS SERVICE.

How does insurance work in all of this?
WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF INSURANCE; HOWEVER, WE ARE NOT TELLING YOU NOT TO HAVE INSURANCE. Insurance should cover all the outside testing, referrals to specialists and hospitalizations you may require. We are not participating in any insurance billing, including Medicare and Medicaid. If you have private insurance, you may be able to get reimbursed for your visits; however, this will be between you and your insurance company.

What makes this better for people?
Our providers are not paid per appointment like most jobs. This frees them up to spend more time with you and not treat you like a number. When providers are rushed to go from patient to patient, that pressure can prevent good listening, which is required for accurate diagnosing and a treatment plan that is best for you. Will this mean patients will need to come in more often to “get their money’s worth”?
This program empowers people to take charge of their own healthcare, with the guidance of a provider. We offer an unlimited number of office visits with our memberships to give you more options and the opportunity to see a pRovider when you need it, without restraints. It also allows you to have better overall care because your provider is not rushed to get from patient to patient. This doesn’t mean you won’t get your money’s worth if you don’t come in everyday. Most people want to spend as little time as possible dealing with Medical care. Our memberships provide you all the tools necessary to make informed, healthy decisions, without worry of any limitations.

What about medicare patients?
IF YOU ARE A MEDICARE AGED PATIENT AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN YOU ARE WELCOME! wE OFFER INSURED PATIENTS A DISCOUNTED RATE OF $55/MONTH. we will not be filing medicare, so you will have THE MONTHLY membership fee. You can keep your medicare plan in case of emergencies or hospitalizations and just like with other insurances you can use the plan for diagnostics and medications.
